Information Technology Technician - Medina Electric Provides desktop PC support, software installation and assistance, solves hardware and software problems, and provides assistance in maintaining local and wide area networks.


1. Computers:
a. Installation - Delivers, sets-up, and performs initial system diagnostics. Also inventories, records, and installs system for user and works with user on new options if required.
b. Trouble shooting - Serves as PC help desk for Cooperative, issues directives, and determines if problem can be resolved or requires IT Supervisor.
c. Inventory - Inventories systems (records operating system (OS), OS version, applications and versions, memory, HD capacity, non-OEM utilities and hardware).
d. Maintenance - Maintains service records, ensures systems are covered by service and serves as contact for service requests.
e. Software - Installs and provides user support for approved software including MS Office, Java, Anti-Virus and other non-standard software. Installs and provides limited support for specialized software unique to Cooperative operations.

2. Configuration - Develops configuration for users consistent with Cooperative standards.
3. Installs, configures and maintains networking hardware such as routers, switches and WAPs.
4. Installs, configures and maintains access control system.
5. Installs, configures and maintains IP camera system.
6. Provides support of IP-based phone system and video conference system.
7. Assists with the installation of various types of communication cable and equipment at MEC facilities.
8. Assists with the installation of mobile radios and other communication devices in MEC vehicles.
9. Prepares reports, equipment requisitions, timesheets and maintains trouble logs.
10. General Responsibilities:
a. Duties apply to all Cooperative locations unless noted.
b. Works with other departments and employees as required evaluating and implementing new technologies.
c. Assists in developing department budget.
d. Attends seminars, in-house training, and other functions relevant to position. Sometimes travel will require overnight stays.
e. Must be able to drive and maintain a current Texas driver's license.
f. Must be able to work during emergency conditions.
g. Performs all duties in accordance with applicable safety, policy, and procedure manuals.
h. Conduct must reflect a professional image when in contact with members, general public, and employees.
i. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Sales Associate Qualifications
-Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail is preferred
-Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
-Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
-Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
-Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed, and working in a team environment
-Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
-Willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment

City of Hondo - Journeyman Lineman The purpose of this position is to ensure electric power to the city. You will work with our Electric team to maintain power lines underground and above ground, repair lines and poles, fix transformers, and replace parts as needed. Other duties include providing supervision to crews on occasion, and operating heavy equipment. Builds electrical distribution systems by operating bucket and digger trucks safely; digging holes to lay underground lines and wires; setting new poles and anchors; setting up and hanging transformers and mounts; installing other electrical components such as cutouts, arrestors, insulators, cable splices, and cable terminators; and testing all components to ensure proper functioning. The Electric team maintains electric systems by repairing damaged parts, including lines, wires, and transformers; replacing broken transformers and rotten poles; reviewing customer lines service complaints; testing parts and equipment; inspecting all components and equipment; reporting problems to supervisors; and keeping work areas clean and safe. ******Experience, Certification and Other Requirements******* Over three years of experience in high voltage electrical field preferred. Valid Texas Driver’s License required with a good driving record and Texas Commercial Driver’s License obtained within One (1) year of employment.
